Nigeria’ s First Female Doctor Dies At 89

Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva has died peacefully on Sunday morning in Lagos . She was 89.
Silva is survived by screen queen , Joke Silva, Bisi Silva, Jumoke Daodu and Lape Silva.
Dr Abimbola Silva was the first female medical doctor in Nigeria .
In 1979, she was honoured with the Officer of the Order of the Niger .
